The Royal Commission for Riyadh City has developed the Riyadh Sustainability Program to ensure the sustainability of the environment, resources, and natural assets for future generations, in alignment with the targets of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Saudi Green Initiative. The program also aims to address the environmental challenges facing the city and leverage best practices to contribute to the creation of environmental economic opportunities.

The goal is to maintain air quality and reduce the impacts of noise and light pollution through plans and programs to monitor pollutants and their sources, as well as developing methodologies and regulations to limit and mitigate them.
